User Management

User Management allows administrators to add, configure, and manage team members in your NEURO tenant.

User management capabilities:

  • Add and remove users
  • Assign roles and permissions
  • Configure authentication
  • Manage user profiles
  • Monitor user activity
  1. Navigate to SettingsUsers
  2. Or click AdminUser Management

The user list shows:

  • Name and email
  • Role
  • Status (Active/Inactive)
  • Last login
  • MFA status

Filter by:

  • Role
  • Status
  • Department
  • Last active

Search by name or email in the search box.

  1. Click + Invite User
  2. Enter user details:
    • Email address (required)
    • Full name (required)
    • Role (required)
    • Department (optional)
  3. Click Send Invitation
  1. User receives email invitation
  2. User clicks link to activate
  3. User sets password
  4. User configures MFA
  5. Account becomes active

Invite multiple users:

  1. Click Bulk Invite
  2. Download CSV template
  3. Fill in user details
  4. Upload CSV
  5. Review and send invitations

CSV format:

  1. Click on user row
  2. Click Edit
  3. Select new role
  4. Save changes

Edit user details:

  1. Click user row
  2. Click Edit
  3. Modify:
    • Full name
    • Role
    • Department
    • Status
  4. Save changes

If a user needs password reset:

  1. Click user row
  2. Click Reset Password
  3. User receives reset email

For pending invitations:

  1. Find user in list
  2. Click Resend Invitation
ActionEffect
DeactivateUser can’t log in, data preserved
DeleteUser removed, activity preserved
  1. Click user row
  2. Click Deactivate
  3. Confirm action

Deactivated users:

  • Cannot log in
  • Don’t count against user limit
  • Historical activity preserved
  • Can be reactivated
  1. Filter to show inactive users
  2. Click user row
  3. Click Reactivate
  1. Click user row
  2. Click Delete
  3. Type user’s email to confirm
  4. Click Permanently Delete

After deletion:

  • User cannot log in
  • User removed from teams
  • Comments show “Deleted User”
  • Activity logs preserved

View MFA status for each user:

    • Configured
  • Not configured
  • Enforced

Require MFA for all users:

  1. Go to Tenant SettingsSecurity
  2. Enable Require MFA
  3. Set grace period for configuration

If a user loses access to their authenticator:

  1. Click user row
  2. Click Reset MFA
  3. User prompted to reconfigure on next login

See individual user activity:

  1. Click user row
  2. Go to Activity tab
  3. View login history, actions
  • Login times and locations
  • Projects accessed
  • Findings created/edited
  • Reports generated
  • Settings changes
  1. Send invitation
  2. Assign appropriate role
  3. Add to relevant projects
  4. Provide training resources
  5. Verify MFA configured
  1. Remove from active projects
  2. Transfer ownership of items
  3. Deactivate (don’t delete)
  4. Review for sensitive access
  5. Document in audit trail
  • Quarterly user audit
  • Remove inactive accounts
  • Verify role appropriateness
  • Check MFA compliance
  • Enforce MFA
  • Use least privilege roles
  • Monitor login activity
