Getting Started
Section titled “Getting Started”How do I create my first project?
Section titled “How do I create my first project?”- Navigate to Projects or press G + P
- Click + New Project or press C + P
- Fill in project details and select a client
- Click Create Project

How do I add team members?
Section titled “How do I add team members?”If you’re an admin:
- Go to Settings → Users
- Click + Invite User
- Enter email and select role
- Send invitation
Can I import data from other tools?
Section titled “Can I import data from other tools?”Yes! NEURO supports imports from:
- Nmap - Asset discovery (XML format)
- Nessus - Vulnerability findings (.nessus)
- Burp Suite - Web findings (XML)
- CSV - Custom data

Findings
Section titled “Findings”How does AI finding generation work?
Section titled “How does AI finding generation work?”- Enter a finding title (e.g., “SQL Injection”)
- Click Generate with AI
- AI creates description, impact, remediation, and CVSS
- Review and customize the generated content
The AI uses Claude to generate security-focused content and can lookup CVE data from NVD.
What’s the difference between severity levels?
Section titled “What’s the difference between severity levels?”| Severity | CVSS | Description |

| Critical | 9.0-10.0 | Immediate action required |
| High | 7.0-8.9 | Address within days |
| Medium | 4.0-6.9 | Plan for remediation |

Can I create finding templates?
Section titled “Can I create finding templates?”Yes! Use the Content Library:
- Go to Content Library → Custom Findings
- Create reusable templates
- Use templates when creating findings
Reports
Section titled “Reports”What report formats are supported?
Section titled “What report formats are supported?”NEURO generates reports in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. You can:
- Edit in Word before delivery
- Convert to PDF manually
- Customize with templates
How do I customize report templates?
Section titled “How do I customize report templates?”- Go to Settings → Report Templates
- Download an existing template
- Edit in Microsoft Word using template variables
- Upload your customized template

Why is my report missing data?
Section titled “Why is my report missing data?”Common causes:
- Findings not assigned to project
- Missing required fields (title, severity)
- Template variable errors
Review findings and ensure all required fields are populated.
Account & Security
Section titled “Account & Security”How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Section titled “How do I enable two-factor authentication?”- Go to Settings → Security
- Click Enable 2FA
- Scan QR code with authenticator app
- Enter verification code
- Save backup codes

I lost my 2FA device. How do I recover access?
Section titled “I lost my 2FA device. How do I recover access?”- Use a backup code if you have one
- Contact your administrator
- Admin can reset your 2FA
- Set up 2FA again with new device
How do I change my password?
Section titled “How do I change my password?”- Go to Settings → Profile
- Click Change Password
- Enter current and new password
- Save changes
Collaboration
Section titled “Collaboration”How do I share a project with clients?
Section titled “How do I share a project with clients?”- Enable Client Portal for the client
- Add portal users (client contacts)
- Assign appropriate permissions
- Client receives invitation email

Can clients mark findings as remediated?
Section titled “Can clients mark findings as remediated?”Yes, if you grant them Manager portal permissions. The workflow:
- Client marks finding as “Remediated”
- Your team receives notification
- You verify the fix
- Update status to “Verified”
How do I mention someone in a comment?
Section titled “How do I mention someone in a comment?”Type @ followed by their name. They’ll receive a notification.

Is there an API?

How do I get API access?
Section titled “How do I get API access?”- Go to Settings → API Access
- Click Create Token
- Configure scopes and expiration
- Copy token (shown only once)
Billing & Plans
Section titled “Billing & Plans”How do I upgrade my plan?
Section titled “How do I upgrade my plan?”Contact sales@nforged.com or click Upgrade in Settings.
How are users counted?
Section titled “How are users counted?”Active users count against your limit. Deactivated users don’t count.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The page won’t load
Section titled “The page won’t load”- Check internet connection
- Clear browser cache
- Try a different browser
- Check status.nforged.com
I can’t see a project
Section titled “I can’t see a project”Possible causes:
- Not assigned to the project
- Project is archived
- Insufficient permissions
Contact your admin if you should have access.
Import is failing
Section titled “Import is failing”Check:
- File format is correct
- File size within limits
- File isn’t corrupted
- You have import permissions
