NEURO is a cloud-based platform that runs in your web browser. This page outlines the requirements for optimal performance.

Browser Requirements

For the best experience, ensure your browser has:

JavaScript Enabled

NEURO requires JavaScript to function. Ensure JavaScript is not blocked by browser extensions.

Cookies Enabled

Session management requires cookies. Allow cookies for *.nforged.com.

Local Storage

NEURO uses local storage for:

Draft auto-saving
User preferences
Session tokens

WebSocket Support

Real-time features (chat, notifications) require WebSocket connections.

Network Requirements

Connectivity

Stable internet connection (5+ Mbps recommended)
Access to *.nforged.com domains
Access to *.amazonaws.com for file storage

Firewall Configuration

If your organization uses a firewall, ensure access to:

NEURO runs entirely in the browser, but for optimal performance:

Two-Factor Authentication

NEURO requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users. You’ll need:

Authenticator App (Recommended)

Microsoft Authenticator (iOS, Android)
Authy (iOS, Android, Desktop)
1Password (with TOTP support)

Hardware Security Keys (Optional)

For enhanced security, NEURO supports:

YubiKey (FIDO2/WebAuthn)
Other FIDO2-compliant keys

File Upload Requirements

IP Whitelisting

Contact support to configure IP-based access restrictions for your tenant.

Data Residency

By default, data is stored in AWS US-East-1. Contact sales for other region options.

Testing Your Setup

To verify your browser meets all requirements:

Navigate to your NEURO instance
Open browser developer tools (F12)
Check the console for any errors
Verify WebSocket connection in Network tab
